IDEA Public Schools Celebrates Mexican Independence Day

September 16 is Mexican Independence Day, and campuses across the IDEA Team & Family celebrated this important day on Friday, September 15.

At IDEA Riverview Academy and College Preparatory, students and staff dressed up in traditional Mexican attire, and after school, the campus will host a loteria night in the cafeteria for students, family, and staff.

The Riverview Roadrunners aren’t the only IDEA campus celebrating this important day.  Throughout the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Austin, IDEA students and staff are coming together and showing their spirit with decorations, delicious, traditional Mexican dishes, and fiestas.  Be sure to check out all the Mexican Independence Day happenings on our Facebook and Instagram channels!

At IDEA Public Schools, we are proud to honor our neighboring country’s Independence Day.  Happy Mexican Independence Day, IDEA Team & Family!
