IDEA Public Schools Board Approves Expansion to Fort Worth



The IDEA Public Schools Board recently approved the network’s expansion to the Fort Worth region in 2019. IDEA Public Schools is a growing network of tuition-free Pre-K - 12 public charter schools serving more than 30,000 students in 51 schools throughout Rio Grande Valley, Austin, and San Antonio. IDEA was recently named America’s Best Charter School Network and boasts national rankings on The Washington Post and U.S. News & World Report’s top high schools lists.

In December, the IDEA Public Schools Board granted approval for IDEA Public Schools to begin expansion to the Fort Worth region, with plans to open schools in the community for the 2019-2020 school year. By 2022, IDEA will operate 173 schools in ten regions educating a hundred thousand students on their road to and through college.
