IDEA El Paso is Ready to Partner with the Local Community

This fall, IDEA will join the El Paso community, as they launch 4 schools this fall.  We look forward to working together with public independent school districts in the area to continue the mission of offering quality school choice for children.

IDEA collaborates with local school districts, staff and parents to develop programs that meet the needs of all students. When we work together, there is no limit to what our children can achieve.  See for yourself here

At IDEA, we think schools should feel more like family. We work together with parents and the community around us to give kids the tools to succeed and create the opportunities of tomorrow.  IDEA understands that choosing where your child goes to school is one of the most important decisions that parents make. We believe that every child is different and parents need real options that fit their child’s and family’s needs. Charter public schools like IDEA give parents a choice.

“What matters to me is that more educational options—quality options—are coming to the city I love,” said Yvette Delgado, an El Paso native and teacher for 15 years. Currently, Yvette is spending one year in IDEA’s flagship region of the Rio Grande Valley as a Founding Teacher Fellow, to learn about IDEA’s curriculum and core values.  Next year, she will be part of a founding IDEA school in her community.  “I’m having a great year here in the Rio Grande Valley, but I miss home. I will see you again soon, El Paso.”

IDEA’s focus is preparing students in El Paso for success in college and in life, through academic and nonacademic means.  IDEA sets high expectations for every student and goes the extra mile to make sure every student realizes their own potential. Personalized learning, critical thinking skills, mastery of core subjects and continued support through college is IDEA’s recipe for success. We partner with local organizations that give students who need them access to enrichment opportunities, academic assistance, life skills, behavioral intervention, counseling and social workers to help them succeed in the classroom and in life.

This mission will always be done with the El Paso community in mind.
