IDEA Campuses Host Culture Camp for New Students

Each year, prior to the first day of school, we invite all Pre-K and new-to-IDEA students of all grade levels to their prospective campus for Culture Camp so they can meet their peers and get acclimated to their new school environment in a stress-free, fun setting.  It’s one of our favorite traditions, and we can’t wait for you to participate this year.

At Culture Camp, you’ll meet new students, teachers, and staff, all of whom are excited that YOU are here.  You’ll also participate in fun, learning activities that will further acquaint you with the IDEA culture, expectations, and our Team & Family.

During Culture Camp, many IDEA schools host special events and activities, give away fun prizes, and offer healthy snacks for attendees.  Other Culture Camps offer learning opportunities for community service, and give away t-shirts.  No matter what your IDEA campus is doing for this event, it is sure to be a day full of fun, learning, and team-building.

Because we see the many benefits of attending Culture Camp for our new students and families every year, we have now made attendance a requirement for all new students.

Some important details about Culture Camp:

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided

  • Students should arrive in their full uniform

  • Parents/students are expected to bring school supplies

Not sure when your campus is hosting Culture Camp? Please call your campus to confirm details.
