The mission of the IDEA Academy & College Preparatory Library is to develop students
who have a love of reading and are able to effectively locate, evaluate, and use information.

LIBRARY VISION

By striving toward an exemplary rating per the School Library Programs
Standards and Guidelines for Texas,
the IDEA Library will:

Ensure stduents become effective, independent users of print and electronic information

Support curriculum and promote a love of reading by providing current books and resources in all formats, print and electronic

Assist teachers in guiding students to be lifelong learners through collaborative planning and purchase of curriculum-supporting materials
